Conversation Memory System

Auto-naming Chats

• Conversations are automatically given descriptive titles based on content
• Rename any conversation manually at any time

• GPT-5.2-chat upgrade — upgraded to the latest GPT-5.2-chat model for faster, higher-quality responses
• 90-day refresh tokens — authentication tokens now last 90 days, reducing the need to re-authenticate
• Improved system prompt — more accurate and helpful responses out of the box
• Better token management — smarter context window usage means longer conversations before hitting limits

Bug Fixes

• Auto-updater — fixed an issue where the auto-updater could fail silently on certain Windows configurations
• IPC handler — resolved a crash when switching between conversations rapidly
• Auth token refresh — fixed a race condition that could cause authentication failures after token expiry
• Vite dev server freeze — resolved a development-only issue where the dev server could hang on hot reload

Technical Changes

• Azure Sweden Central migration — API traffic now routes through Azure Sweden Central for improved EU data residency
• Single UK relay — consolidated to a single UK relay endpoint for lower latency
• Windows code signing — installer is now signed with an EV certificate for smoother SmartScreen experience
• Debug panel removal — removed internal debug panel from production builds

Installation

1. Download the installer from usecloakai.com
2. Verify the SHA256 checksum matches the one shown on the download page
3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
4. Launch CloakAI and complete the initial setup
